Rescue Squad

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office strives to provide the very best service and protection to the citizens and visitors to our county. The Lake County Rescue Squad is an organization dedicated to assisting the Lake County Sheriff in fulfilling the duties of the office with regards to search and rescue of lost or missing persons and to respond to water or other emergencies.  The Rescue Squad’s unique training and specialized equipment can be invaluable in saving lives.

The Lake County Rescue Squad is staffed by volunteer members. Equipment is located in Two Harbors, Silver Bay and Finland.  This allows the Rescue Squad to respond quickly when they are requested.
