Highway Maintenance Supervisor
Salary:
$30.96-$41.80 hourly

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D.; 5 years experience operating light and heavy maintenance and construction equipment, 2 years of highway maintenance experience, and 1 year of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and a valid Commercial Driver's license (CDL Class A) with a tank vehicle endorsement and without air brake vehicle restrictions. EXAM: Complete a practical Truck Driving/Equipment Operation examination.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising staff and planning, managing, and executing projects and tasks related to highway maintenance and improvement projects.
Work Test Period:
Appointee to the position must successfully complete probationary period per contract.
Background Check:
Applicants selected for appointment must pass a criminal background check.
Drug Testing:
Applicants selected for appointment must take and pass a drug test.
Physical-Medical Standards:
Applicants must meet essential physical requirements of the position.
