Mediation is an alternative to going to court. This program connects those seeking conflict resolution services to local mediation service providers. Mediation can help resolve conflicts between neighbors, landlords and tenants, family relationships, parenting time, workplace issues, etc.
Restorative practices include a variety of interventions that can range from one-on-one to medium-sized groups facilitated by trained facilitators. These interventions are often designed with participant input and typically focus on a broad range of deeply personal and consequential matters.
Facilitated dialogues are medium to large-size group discussions facilitated by trained facilitators. These interventions address a range of predetermined and participant-identified issues with the goals of capturing a broad range of perspectives and moving the group forward with a shared process and purpose.
Training and skill building are available from the individual to institutional level. These services address a wide range of issues based on participants’ interests and organizational goals.

Assisting Veterans and former Servicemembers living in Minnesota with finding sustainable housing. Also offers outreach, case management, employment and training, deposit and rental assistance, housing subsidy programs, emergency financial assistance and correction re-entry services.
Veteran employment and training services help Veterans create a resume, address barriers, receive career coaching, job search assistance, and refers Veterans to Veteran-friendly employers.

The Senior Citizens’ Law Project is the place for you to go to get FREE information and confidential advice about elder law issues. The Seniors’ Project is for individuals who are at least 60 years of age and live in Lake, Cook, Carlton, Itasca, Koochiching, Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing and St. Louis counties. By getting legal advice when you need it, you can prevent and resolve legal issues, remain independent, avoid victimization, and make better planning decisions. The Senior’ Project cannot help you with criminal matters.
The Senior Citizens’ Law Project has a kiosk located within North Shore Area Partners (NSAP), Silver Bay. You will be able to research information and connect with an attorney or paralegal. The kiosk is available during NSAP’s normal business hours.
